Restructuring bus networks can be carried out as an incremental process, where each part is revised in phased programme, or in a single-step, in which an entire network is recast simultaneously. In this webinar, four international case studies were used to compare different approaches, suggesting that the incremental process may incur less risk. This may be of particular relevance in Britain, given moves to adopt franchising in some large urban areas.
