This event is hosted by Bus Centre of Excellence (BCoE), in collaboration with the Department for Transport (DfT) and Arup.
The DfT have launched a review of Enhanced Partnerships (EPs), in support of the Government’s objective to empower local leaders to deliver ambitious plans that improve the bus passenger experience and grow patronage. The EP Review aims to identify areas where EPs can be improved and strengthened to deliver a better standard of bus services across the country.
This event is a chance for those involved closely with Enhanced Partnerships to network and share where you have found successes and experienced challenges. We want to understand the support you might need from the DfT and BCoE to improve your partnership working, seek your suggestions for how the EP guidance could be improved, and discuss what reasonable minimum expectations for bus services would look like across the country.
The event will concentrate on bringing the wealth of knowledge and experience from across the regions together to explore how to build on the progress we have made, for the benefit of bus passengers.
This event is one of two identical events; the other event will be in Leeds on Wednesday 2 April 2025. Please apply for one event only.
Please note that this event if FREE to attend but places are strictly limited; priority will be given to bus professionals at Local Transport Authorities and from bus operators, who are actively involved in EPs.
