DRT - Joint Event with ITS UK Public Transport Forum

 Join us for an exclusive in-person event as the Bus Centre of Excellence (BCoE) and ITS UK Public Transport Forum come together to showcase new ideas and good practice examples in the DDRT sector. This event is part of Better Transport Week 2024 (17 – 22 June), a week-long celebration of sustainable transport, organised by the Campaign for Better Transport.

Taking place on Tuesday, 18th June, at CIHT office in Old Street, this BCoE & ITS UK joint DRT event promises to bring together industry experts, thought leaders, and innovators for an afternoon of insightful discussions and networking opportunities.

A light lunch will be provided at 1pm with presentations starting at 2pm, followed by a Q&A session.

Speakers:

• Richard Jeremy (Principal Consultant, Systra) and Andy Ambrose (Manager, Arrow Taxis) will speak about the concept of combining DDRT passenger operations with parcel deliveries

• Adele Wearing, (Strategic Lead, Passenger Transport, Milton Keynes City Council) speaking about MK Connect, an urban & suburban DDRT scheme

• Stephen Joseph, OBE (Transport Policy Consultant, University of Hertfordshire) will speak about DDRT in rural areas, findings so far and directions for the future.
